PHP删除字符串最后一个字符

通常在存多个有效值的时候(如:关键字,标签等),需要对存储的值进行分隔符处理,这样处理后通常会在字符串的首端或末端多一个分隔符,这是就需要对字符串进行处理删除首端或末端的分隔符。

方法一:

rtrim — 删除字符串末端的空白字符(或者其他字符)

说明: string rtrim ( string $str [, string $character_mask ] )

该函数删除 str 末端的空白字符并返回。

不使用第二个参数, rtrim() 仅删除以下字符:

" " (ASCII 32 (0x20)),普通空白符。
"\t" (ASCII 9 (0x09)),制表符。
"\n" (ASCII 10 (0x0A)),换行符。
"\r" (ASCII 13 (0x0D)),回车符。
"\0" (ASCII 0 (0x00)),NUL 空字节符。
"\x0B" (ASCII 11 (0x0B)),垂直制表符。

$str  输入字符串。    $character_mask  通过指定 character_mask,可以指定想要删除的字符列表。简单地列出你想要删除的全部字符。使用 .. 格式,可以指定一个范围。 

例子:

$text = 'b,c,d,';
$trimmed  =  rtrim ( $text ,  "," );
 var_dump ( $trimmed );

输出 b,c,d

类似函数:

ltrim() 去除字符串首尾处的空白字符(或者其他字符)

trim()  去除字符串首尾处的空白字符(或者其他字符)

方法二:

substr — 返回字符串的子串

string substr ( string $string , int $start [, int $length ] )

$string 要处理的字符串  

$start 开始的位置

如果 start 是非负数,返回的字符串将从 string 的 start 位置开始,从 0 开始计算。例如,在字符串 “abcdef” 中,在位置 0 的字符是 “a”,位置 2 的字符串是 “c” 等等。

如果 start 是负数,返回的字符串将从 string 结尾处向前数第 start 个字符开始。

如果 string 的长度小于或等于 start,将返回 FALSE 。 

$length 截取的字符串长度    如果没有提供 length,返回的子字符串将从 start 位置开始直到字符串结尾。

$str = 'a,b,c,d,';
$rest  = substr(  $str,0,strlen($str)-1);
echo $rest;

输出: a,b,c
