News on June 7th, early this morning, Intel released two new graphics cards designed specifically for professional workstations, namely Ruixuan Pro A60 and Ruixuan Pro A60M. These two graphics cards use the latest core in Intel's Xe DG2 family, known as DG2-G12, which can also be referred to as DG2-256 or SOC3.
Ruixuan Pro A60 and Ruixuan Pro The A60M graphics card is positioned between the Ruixuan A300/A300M series (using the DG2-G11/DG2-128/SOC2 small core) and the Ruixuan A700/A700M series (using the DG2-G10/DG2-512/SOC1 large core).
The maximum core frequency of Ruixuan Pro A60 is 2.4GHz, the memory bandwidth is 384GB/s, and the power consumption of the whole card is 130W. It comes with 12GB GDDR6 video memory, bit width is 192-bit. Compared with the previously released Intel Ruixuan Pro graphics card, Ruixuan Pro A60 has higher performance. It has 16 PCIe lanes, 256 dedicated AI The Xe Matrix Extensions (XMX) engine and 16 ray tracing units are twice as many as the previous generation.
This graphics card provides 4 DP 2.0 interfaces, supports UHBR10, can achieve up to 8K/60 frame output, and can drive up to 4 units at the same time supporting HDR and Dolby Horizon monitor.
The maximum core frequency of Ruixuan Pro A60M is reduced to 1.3GHz, the memory width is correspondingly reduced to 128-bit, and the capacity is 8GB GDDR6, the bandwidth is 256GB/s, and the power consumption of the whole card is 95W. Ruixuan Pro A60M supports DP 2.0 UHBR 10, eDP 1.4 and HDMI 2.1/2.0b output.
Both graphics cards also feature full media codecs including AV1, making them ideal for computer-aided design and modeling (CAD/ CAM), AI inference, and media processing workloads in commercial environments.
According to the editor’s understanding, Ruixuan Pro A60/A60M graphics cards will regularly receive official driver updates for performance optimization, and have been certified for workstation software applications in fields such as architecture, engineering and construction, design and manufacturing. Certification scope includes Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Maya, Bentley MicroStation, Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS, Nemets
check VectorWorks, PTC Creo, Siemens NX and Siemens Solid Edge, etc.
It is worth noting that the Ruixuan Pro A60/A60M graphics card will be available through Intel authorized distributors in the next few weeks, and the Ruixuan Pro for mobile systems A60M graphics cards will be available through OEM partners in the coming months. In addition, HP has released a new model equipped with Intel Ruixuan Pro A40 graphics card for workstations, while Dell and Lenovo are expected to launch corresponding products in the third quarter of 2023.
In addition, the Intel Sharp Pro graphics card series has been verified for use on the Intel NUC 13 Extreme mini computer equipped with a 125W unlocked 13th generation Core processor.
