想把php这条路走得深一点，请问有必要拿一个网络工程师的证吗？

网络工程师好像和coder关联不大。但是我总是认为，想把php这条路走得长远一点，有必要把网络技术掌握得更熟悉一些（以前没有系统的学过，基本的网络应用常识还是有）。

汇编，c语言，js，php，linux都我都用得比较熟练（不精通），目前是个php码农（2年）。
我对php内核，算法，操作系统都感兴趣。唯一不感兴趣的就是堆代码！但是还要是糊口，也没办法，每天都是硬着头皮去堆，完成任务似的。

前段时间去应聘一个耍linux、php处理高并发的职位，被pass了，因为网络知识不健全，深受打击。
这段时间想好好恶补一下网络，去拿个证。
毕竟时间和精力有限，希望有前辈指点一下，看看投入精力到这一块是否值得，以及我这种比较随性的coder适合的发展方向。
