256-core processors coming next year, Ampere Computing updates 2024 annual roadmap
According to news from this site on May 17, Ampere Computing, an Arm-based server processor design company, recently updated its 2024 strategy and product roadmap, confirming that the next generation of 256-core processors will arrive next year.
The most powerful product launched by Ampere Computing recently is the 192-core AmpereOne processor launched in May last year. The processor uses an 8-channel DDR5 memory platform, is based on TSMC’s 5nm process, and has a TDP of up to 400W. This information was obtained by querying this site.
Ampere Computing plans to launch a new generation of 12-channel DDR5 memory platform within this year, and launch a new version of the 192-core AmpereOne processor that is compatible with the new platform.

The new 12-memory channel platform is compatible with existing cooling solutions and will welcome another processor update next year:
The next generation of products will be based on TSMC's 3nm process, with a core count of 256. Ampere Computing claims that the new products launching next year will have "40% better" performance than the processors on the market today. In addition to hardware product updates, Ampere Computing also demonstrated multiple advances in the field of AI.
The company stated that Oracle Oracle Cloud cloud instances based on the company's processors have excellent energy efficiency on the Meta Llama 3 model:
Pure CPU solution based on the 128-core Ampere Altra processor It can provide the same performance as NVIDIA A10 GPU, while the power consumption is only one-third of the combined power of competing GPU and platform CPU.
In addition, Ampere Computing also announced that it has reached a cooperation with Qualcomm to launch an AI solution based on its processor and Qualcomm Cloud AI 100 Ultra cloud inference accelerator card.

mPDF
mPDF is a PHP library that can generate PDF files from UTF-8 encoded HTML. The original author, Ian Back, wrote mPDF to output PDF files "on the fly" from his website and handle different languages. It is slower than original scripts like HTML2FPDF and produces larger files when using Unicode fonts, but supports CSS styles etc. and has a lot of enhancements. Supports almost all languages, including RTL (Arabic and Hebrew) and CJK (Chinese, Japanese and Korean). Supports nested block-level elements (such as P, DIV),
