Urban air mobility (UAM) developer Doroni Aerospace recently released its flagship aircraft H1-X, marking its official entry into the electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL) market. This aircraft demonstrates the company's strength and ambition in this field.

After years of behind-the-scenes research and development, Doroni has finally unveiled the H1-X to the public. The two-seat "flying car" has impressive performance parameters, and its design also has some differences from other eVTOLs in development. Doroni, for example, designed the H1-X to be a two-seat personal aircraft rather than the larger cabin designs many other companies are developing for air taxi services. Doroni news shows that the H1-X weighs 1850 pounds (approximately 839.9 kg) and can carry up to 500 pounds (approximately 227 kg) cargo, with a battery life of up to 40 minutes on a single charge. Its most impressive feature is that it can reach a top speed of 120 miles per hour.

## Doroni Aerospace representatives say the first H1-X eVTOLs are being manufactured and will conduct intensive test flights at the end of the year. Nonetheless, Doroni said that the aircraft shown is already an upcoming version and may undergo some fine-tuning before mass production.

The H1-X has received airworthiness certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is expected to enter mass production in 2026. Each eVTOL is expected to sell for between $300,000 and $400,000.
