The total charging electricity in the country in December 2023 was approximately 3.81 billion kWh, an increase of 270 million kWh from the previous month, a year-on-year increase of 78.1%, and a month-on-month increase of 7.5%.
As of December 2023, member units within the alliance have reported a total of approximately 2.726 million public charging piles, including 1.203 million DC charging piles and 1.522 million AC charging piles.
In 2023, an average of approximately 77,000 new public charging piles will be added every month.
The top 10 provinces for charging pile construction are Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Hubei, Shandong, Beijing, Anhui, Henan, and Sichuan. The proportion of public charging piles built in these ten provinces accounts for 70.7%.
The charging electricity in the country is mainly concentrated in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shandong, Fujian, Shaanxi, Henan and other provinces.
