IT House noticed that the background of this incident originated from 2017, when NavInfo entered into cooperation with Beijing Baidu Netcom Technology Co., Ltd. and Baidu Online Network Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Baidu Cloud Computing Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. filed a lawsuit with the Beijing Intellectual Property Court regarding copyright infringement and unfair competition disputes. After NavInfo won the first instance, the above-mentioned Baidu company filed an appeal to the Beijing Higher People's Court.
The caseinvolved an amount of 64.5 million yuan. The Beijing Intellectual Property Court formally accepted the case on November 22, 2017, and the Beijing Higher People's Court made a decision on December 28, 2023. Final judgment.
