Samsung releases two ISOCELL Vizion sensors customized for robotics and augmented reality applications
Samsung Semiconductor has launched two ISOCELL Vizion image sensors, namely the ToF sensor ISOCELL Vizion 63D and the global shutter sensor ISOCELL Vizion 931. Both sensors are suitable for future high-tech applications such as robotics and extended reality (XR)
ISOCELL Vizion 63D is Samsung’s first iToF sensor with an integrated depth-sensing hardware image signal processor (ISP). The sensor senses the surrounding three-dimensional environment by detecting the phase difference between the emitted beam and the reflected beam, thereby accurately capturing high-resolution three-dimensional images
ISOCELL Vizion 931 is a global shutter image sensor designed for capturing dynamic moments. It is suitable for motion tracking game systems, service and logistics robots, drones and extended reality (XR) devices, etc.
Samsung is currently providing Samsung ISOCELL Vizion 63D and ISOCELL Vizion 931 sensor samples to global OEMs
