Intel's Free Arrow Lake Overclocking Boost: Faster Gaming for Core Ultra CPUs

Your Intel Core Ultra 200-series processor might already be a powerhouse, but Intel's latest free update delivers a significant performance boost for gamers. The "Intel 200S Boost" overclocking profile is designed to enhance gaming performance on specific unlocked Core Ultra 200S-series CPUs.

This update, however, isn't a universal solution. It's only compatible with unlocked Intel Core Ultra 200S-series processors ending in "K" or "KF" (K denotes unlocked multiplier for overclocking; KF is a K-series chip without integrated graphics), used with compatible Intel Z890 chipset motherboards and Intel XMP-enabled RAM. Intel assures users this officially supported overclock won't void warranties.

Independent testing by Tom's Hardware revealed an average 7.5% performance improvement across various games when using the 200S Boost profile compared to the standard profile. While overclocking might seem daunting, this profile is designed for stability.

To activate this boost:

Enable Intel 200S Boost: Access your BIOS settings, navigate to the overclocking/performance tuning section, and select "Intel 200S Boost."
Test for Stability: Before gaming, thoroughly test your system's stability.
