Honkai: Star Rail's Strife Ruins: A Comprehensive Guide to Solving Puzzles and Reaching the Strife Titan

Honkai: Star Rail cleverly integrates gameplay mechanics with its narrative, using environmental puzzles to teach players how each new area functions. The Strife Ruins Castrum Kremnos, home to the Strife Titan, is a prime example. This guide will walk you through the puzzles, utilizing the helpful in-game markers to guide your progress.

Navigating the First Room

Upon entering the Strife Ruins, descend the stairs, defeat any enemies, and enter the first puzzle room. Your first task involves using Oronyx's prayer to mend the bridge to your right. Note that this bridge will collapse after a single crossing, but can be repaired from either side.

After crossing and repairing the bridge again, proceed to the mechanism on the far side. Interact with the mechanism, then recross the unrepaired bridge to exit the room. You'll then part ways with Mydei, following a separate path with Phainon. Continue along this path, defeating enemies until you reach the next puzzle area.

Solving the Prophecy Tablet and Ball-Holder Statues

You'll encounter a Prophecy Tablet along the way. The solution is straightforward: place the two triangles on the outer edges, then the square in the center. Cross the bridge and interact with the objects in the next room to progress.

The first ball-holder puzzle room requires interacting with a pedestal containing a blue orb (located upstairs). This will allow you to rewind the obstructing ball. Follow the yellow markers, engaging in combat before tackling another Prophecy Tablet. This puzzle involves positioning the larger triangles at the bottom, overlapping in the lower section. Place the smaller triangles at the top, pointing away from each other, to solve it. The game offers hints if you're stuck.

After solving the tablet, you'll face the main puzzle. Rewind the broken pillar on the left to its original position. Climb the open staircase to obtain another blue orb, fully rewinding the lower ball. Climb the other staircase, remove the ball from the statue, and exit. An optional path to the left reveals a chest containing valuable rewards.

Conquering the Final Rooms

Continue following the path until you encounter the Hands of Zagreus puzzles.

In the first room, use the hand to create a bridge across the gap, then disengage and cross. Release the ball on the statue to access a mechanism, clearing the path to the exit. You'll then reunite with Mydei, leading to a series of dialogues before the final puzzle.

Prepare your team for the Strife Titan. In the final room, use the hand to bridge the gap after placing a cube onto the blue structures. Interact with the Titankin (non-hostile enemies). One final Hand of Zagreus bridge leads to the Strife Titan battle. Defeat the Titan to complete the quest.
