In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the Gestrals, like humans and Grandis, were scattered after the Fracture. The Searchers are Gestrals dedicated to reuniting their scattered kin. Helping Sastro, a Searcher at your camp, involves locating nine Lost Gestrals across the Continent Map. Their secluded locations present a challenge, despite not requiring dungeon exploration.

Act 1 Lost Gestrals

• Near Esquie's Nest: After defeating Goblu in Flying Waters, travel east to find the first Lost Gestral.

• Near Stone Wave Cliffs: Follow the lower eastern shore path. Defeat the Bourgeon (you might need to return in Act 2 for sufficient strength), then locate the Gestral east of its location. A Picto is also in the nearby campsite.

Act 2 Lost Gestrals

• Near The White Tree: Swim west from the peninsula northwest of the Gestral Village to the island with the White Tree. The Gestral is in the southern woods.

• Near Monoco's Station: A merchant east of the path to Monoco’s Station marks the area. The Gestral is hidden south of the merchant, amongst trees and ruins. Alternatively, exit Monoco’s Station via the northeast entrance and use the paint smear bridge to return.

• Near The Coastal Cave: Once Esquie can break coral, access the northern shore of the island (east of Monoco’s Station) with the Coastal Cave. The Gestral is amidst the urns.

• Near Old Lumiere: On the red island northwest of Old Lumiere, past the central Mimes, near the mountains, you'll find Gestral jars concealing a Lost Gestral.

Act 3 Lost Gestrals

• Near The Endless Tower: From the Endless Tower entrance, mount Esquie and fly southwest to a small floating island.

• Near The Reacher: During Maelle’s Act 3 quest at The Reacher, detour northeast to the forest clearing near Axon’s tower. The Gestral is at the south end.

• Near Endless Night Sanctuary: Fly east from Old Lumiere, towards the map's edge. In the large red forest (Endless Night Sanctuary), the final Gestral is on the western side of the rocks before the entrance, north of the enemy group.

Lost Gestral Rewards

Reporting found Gestrals to Sastro yields rewards. Initially, he provides Gestral hairstyles; subsequently, resources like Colours of Lumina are given.
