However, Bosch later issued an announcement stating that the Shanxi Yuncheng accident was not equipped with Bosch's AEB system.
Given that the M7 Plus uses the smart driving solution from Bosch and Freetech, which is also the mainstream solution in the industry, its maximum working range is only 85km/h.
Regarding the new M7 Ultra released this time, it said that the forward AEB effective range has been increased to 4-150km/h. He also emphasized that AEB cannot 100% guarantee to avoid accidents. It requires a certain distance to brake and try to avoid traffic accidents, but even gods can't do it in extreme scenarios.
