Detailed explanation of how to use col to hide table columns under FF! _Experience exchange

Today, I was working on a report with 52 fields, which forced me to do some in-depth research.
I found:
The default value of col's display under ff is: table-column
visibility The default value is: visible
I checked the CSS manual again and found that visibility has an optional value of collapse. It is said that it is not implemented in IE. The fact that IE does not implement it is not the same as that FF does not implement it, just like FF does not support it. It's not necessarily the same that IE doesn't support it.
Being a BT person, I tried them one by one,
