Are you tired of receiving messages and calls from Microsoft Teams while on vacation? That’s no longer the case; Teams now allows users to schedule out-of-office status. Doing this will let your teammates know that you are away or on vacation.
There are two ways to set the planned outing status in Microsoft Teams:
Now, let’s take a look at these in detail.
Click your profile picture at the top, then click Set Status Message.
Click on the planned outing time at the bottom and the outing tab will open.
Here, turn on the toggle next to it to turn on automatic replies, enter an out of office message, and enable sending replies only within a certain period of time.
Next, select the date and time you will be out of the office and click Save.
Now, when anyone sends you a message during this time, they will receive the out of office message you set.

Navigate to General, scroll down to the Out of Office section, and click Schedule.
In the tab that opens, select the Send automatic reply option along with the days and times you will be out of the office.
