Installing the Windows operating system into a solid-state drive can improve the loading and running speed of the system. However, many people do not install the system into a solid-state drive. Here is a way to easily complete it using third-party software.
Note: The total capacity of the solid state drive must exceed the system space;
The partition format of the M.2 solid state drive must be the same as the source system partition , the solid-state drive can be converted to GPT/MBR through initialization;
The M.2 solid-state drive should show unallocated in disk management (if not, please back up important files and delete other partitions)
1. Install and open AOMEI Partition Assistant, find "Migrate system to SSD" in the wizard options
2. Select the unused space and proceed to the next step.
If there are already partitions, check the "In order to migrate the system to SSD 1, I am willing to delete all partitions on this hard drive" option.
3. Adjust the size of the partition created by the M.2 solid-state drive in the jump window and continue to the next step.
4. Click Finish.
5. After returning to the main interface, click Submit-Execute to wait for the operation.
