Guest User Mode

After users turn on guest mode, they can invite family or friends to experience the Vision Pro headset, but they can only have limited access to applications such as photos and Safari. Once guest user mode is activated, the primary user's Apple ID account settings, Optic ID, passwords, Apple Pay, Persona, and health data will be restricted.

Guest user mode was discovered last year in the visionOS simulator of Apple’s application development tool Xcode. According to information displayed by the simulator, the mode will automatically turn off if the user does not wear the headset for five minutes.

Travel Mode
