Microsoft recently issued an official announcement (MC708500) announcing that starting in April 2024, the Microsoft Teams application client will receive an important update. According to the announcement, after the update, users will no longer be able to load websites directly through the Teams Website tab. The purpose of this change is to strengthen network security and further protect users’ privacy rights.
According to the editor’s understanding, this update will change users’ habits of visiting websites in Teams. In the past, users could directly open and browse websites in the Teams Website tab, but after the update, clicking a website link will launch the browser and display the website content in a new tab. This means users will need to switch tabs between Teams and the browser to view the information they need. Microsoft recommends that users who want to view web content more conveniently in Teams can consider using the corresponding application tag for pinning. For example, pinning SharePoint pages through SharePoint application tags instead of just using website tags to pin URLs.
This change mainly affects users of the regular version of Teams, while users of the educational version of Teams and the mobile version of the Teams app will not be affected. Microsoft says this is done to maintain a consistent user experience in educational environments and on mobile devices.
The above is the detailed content of Microsoft Teams is ushering in major changes: starting in April 2024, it will be prohibited to directly load web pages in tabs to strengthen network security. For more information, please follow other related articles on the PHP Chinese website!

It is slower than original scripts like HTML2FPDF and produces larger files when using Unicode fonts, but supports CSS styles etc. and has a lot of enhancements. Supports almost all languages, including RTL (Arabic and Hebrew) and CJK (Chinese, Japanese and Korean). Supports nested block-level elements (such as P, DIV),
