According to news from this site on January 13, American company Patriot Memory demonstrated the launch of its flagship solid-state drive with PCIe 5.0 x4 interface - Viper PV573 during the CES 2024 exhibition.
Viper PV573 is equipped with a powerful cooling system that can keep the temperature below 45 degrees Celsius at a continuous read speed of 14,000 MB/s.
This site learned from reports that Patriot’s Viper PV573 SSD uses Phison PS5026-E26 master and Micron’s B58R 3D TLC NAND, with a data transfer rate of 2400 MT/ s, available in 1TB, 2TB and 4TB capacities.
Patriot says the SSD uses the M.2-2280 form factor and can deliver sequential read speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 12,000 MB/s.
Patriot said that the biggest highlight of this solid state drive is the heat dissipation system, which is made of aluminum radiator, heat dissipation cover and fan. The Z-axis of the radiator is 16.5 mm and requires an external power supply and fan. The rated life is 25,000 hours, or two years and 10 months.
Patriot said the Viper PV573 SSD will be available in 2024, but did not mention pricing.
