Learn about Apple CarPlay and how to connect your iPhone to CarPlay

CarPlay is Apple's hands-free driving tool. With CarPlay, we can access our favorite applications (from maps to music) without picking up the device. With CarPlay, you can make calls, listen to voicemails, dictate and listen to texts, get turn-by-turn directions, and listen to your favorite podcasts and music, all without taking your hands off the steering wheel.

How to connect iPhone to CarPlay?

Turn on the vehicle and plug your iPhone into the USB port. CarPlay will automatically appear on the vehicle's screen, and you can start using the app.

Some cars support wireless and USB connections for CarPlay. Once you plug your iPhone into a USB port, an alert will appear on your phone and you can choose to connect wirelessly.

Connect CarPlay wirelessly, please follow the steps below before driving:

Car With your phone's wireless or Bluetooth turned on, press and hold the voice command button on the steering wheel.
On iPhone, go to Settings >Wi-Fi and confirm that Wi-Fi is turned on.
Go to Settings > General > CarPlay and select your car.
