In iOS 17 and later, you can share passwords and passkeys with family and trusted contacts. When sharing is initiated, anyone in the group can add passwords and passkeys. When a shared password is changed, it changes on everyone's devices.

iOS 17 新功能:与信任的联系人共享密码

Create a sharing group

1. Go to "Settings" - "Password". Tap the blue plus sign in the upper right corner, then tap New Sharing Group.

#2. Enter a name for the group, then tap the blue plus sign "Add User" (located under "Group Members").

#3. Type the name, email address, or phone number of the person you want to add, then tap Add.

4. Tap "Create".

#5. Select the password you want to share with the group, then tap Move in the upper right corner.

# If you don’t want to share any passwords just yet, tap Later in the upper left corner.

You can choose to notify users added to the group that they have been invited. If they choose not to be notified, users can also access the invitation by going to Settings - Passwords - Group Invitations.

Please note: When using this feature, all users’ devices need to be upgraded to iOS 17, iPadOS 17 or higher, and be in each other’s address book. If a user can be added to a group, their contact information will appear in blue.

If you move your passwords to a shared group, you can only access them on iOS 17, iPadOS 17, or later devices.

Manage sharing people

You can open iPhone Settings - Password at any time, then tap the group name, tap "Manage", add or remove members from the group, or delete the group directly.

Accept Invitation

To respond to an invitation, iOS 17 or later must be installed on your iPhone.

Go to iPhone Settings-Password-Group Invitation and tap Invite. Tap Accept to join the group.

If you do not know the sender, please do not accept the invitation.
