Volvo electric MPV EM90 releases new trailer, paying tribute to the classic Duett
According to news on October 14, Volvo Cars once again announced its first pure electric MPV model to be launched soon. EM90 is preheated. This time, they showed a new car in the trailer that pays tribute to their classic model Duett from 70 years ago, attracting people's attention in a unique way. Although only part of the body is shown, the car still maintains a certain sense of mystery in anticipation of its official release on November 12.
According to Volvo’s official release, the EM90 will be officially unveiled on November 12 and will begin accepting reservations in the Chinese mainland market at the same time. The outline of the new car can be vaguely seen on the official poster. This car adopts the front face design of the Volvo family, including the iconic "Thor's Hammer" headlights. Although only the rear half of the car body is shown, both the square outline and the shape of the rear windows are reminiscent of Ji Krypton 009.
The rear of this new car also uses "Thor's Hammer" headlights, and according to previous official trailers, it will also be equipped with a luminous LOGO. In addition, previously released preview images from the roof view show that the new car will adopt a double sunroof design with a front sunroof and a rear panoramic sunroof to provide passengers with more lighting and a sense of openness
Volvo Duett is the pioneer of the Volvo brand in the MPV field and is famous for its multi-function and multi-purpose. The car was initially sold in the Nordic market and later became one of the first Volvo cars exported to the United States. It combines the comfort of a car with the space of a station wagon and the loading capacity of a van. It even appeared on a Swedish postage stamp in 1997. The EM90's tribute is undoubtedly a review of the brand's tradition and history, and it also adds a unique emotion to the upcoming electric MPV.
