DoNews reported on October 13 that Adobe is taking the lead in launching a new LOGO to identify images and content created or edited using artificial intelligence tools.
Adobe has developed a solution called Content Credentials in partnership with a number of companies, including the BBC, Microsoft, Nikon and many other partners
With this solution, Adobe can add information about the origin of an image, video or PDF file to metadata to indicate whether an AI algorithm was used during the creation or editing of the data file
Adobe Photoshop and Premiere will automatically add relevant information, and Microsoft plans to provide support in Bing Image Creator
When an application or browser (implemented using Java) that supports this feature displays content, a LOGO in the form of lowercase letters "cr" will appear in the upper right corner of the image.
After the user clicks on it, a pop-up window appears with information about the image. The files in question can also be uploaded to a special website, where the necessary metadata will be displayed.
