Second, the layout of infrastructure has been accelerated. Cloud computing, smart computing, supercomputing, etc. have developed collaboratively. The scale of computing power ranks second in the world. Major projects such as eastern and western computing have been accelerated. There are more than 2.8 million 5G base stations, and industrial data annotation has been carried out. Registration pilot work. The driving force for the digital, intelligent and green transformation of the real economy mainly comes from the deep integration of artificial intelligence and manufacturing, and the continuous expansion of application fields. More than 2,500 digital workshops and smart factories have been built. After intelligent transformation, the research and development cycle has been shortened by approximately 20.7%, production efficiency has increased by approximately 34.8%, the defective product rate has been reduced by approximately 27.4%, and carbon emissions have been reduced by approximately 21.2%.

This seems to be the future development trend. This situation will have both positive and negative consequences. We are about to enter an era of material abundance, where we can get what we need in an instant. In the future world, because the production efficiency of robots will greatly exceed the production efficiency dominated by humans, this will trigger a profound change. We need to be careful to ensure that the end result is beneficial to humanity. Based on the development trends of companies such as Tesla, the proportion of robots will grow rapidly, even exceeding the proportion of non-fully autonomous vehicles. At Tesla, we also want to make this technology available to other automakers, which is why we are willing to license their use of our fully self-driving technology.

Tesla believes that our current autonomous driving technology is very close to achieving fully autonomous driving without human intervention. What is the situation? . We've tested it on U.S. roads, and human intervention is now rarely needed. Therefore, when I drive a Tesla using the latest FSD fully autonomous driving beta version technology system, I basically don’t need to touch the controller from starting point A to end point B. However, this is still just a prediction and a guess. However, what needs special attention is deep comprehensive artificial intelligence, especially fully autonomous vehicles. There are difficulties in fully automating an AI as limited and constrained as a fully autonomous car, but we believe this problem will soon be solved.

However, limited artificial intelligence and comprehensive artificial intelligence are completely different. Total AI is difficult to define. It is a type of artificial intelligence that is smarter than humans in any field. While Tesla is not focused on comprehensive AI research, other companies are actively conducting related research. We firmly believe that now is an important time to regulate and oversee deep and comprehensive AI to ensure its safety. The kind of artificial intelligence I'm describing is a form of superintelligence that may be made possible by thousands or even millions of high-performance computers and state-of-the-art computers working together in data centers, with capabilities greater than those of humans. This brings with it risks and concerns about possible positive and negative futures. We must do our best to ensure that a negative future does not occur while achieving a positive future.
