IT House reported on June 8 that Runway, the technology company behind "The Instant Universe", had previously received investment from Google to accelerate the application of AI in film and television creation. Recently, Runway unveiled its AI-powered video editing tool Gen-2, which allows users to directly use text prompts to generate "lifelike video content" and "automatically edit videos."
Runway debuted its Gen-1 model in February, which uses only text prompts to modify the artistic style of a video, such as converting real-life footage into a cartoon cutout world.
Gen-2 goes one step further and can directly use a single text prompt to generate a video scene. For example, if the prompt word is "Aerial drone footage of mountains", it can generate realistic aerial footage, but the open source model output video resolution The rate is currently low and further development is needed.

The startup’s goal is to combine human intelligence with AI creation to create unique content while preventing misuse of AI.
Currently, Runway Gen-2 has been launched on the Apple App Store, and there is also a Web version that can be used in the browser. Friends from IT House can click here to visit.
