Home >Common Problem >Microsoft's Panos Panay reiterates that Windows 11 is all about quality
Recently Microsoft announced that Windows 11 is now ready for widespread deployment. Microsoft says the company may feel this way because it's already seen massive adoption, twice as much as Windows 10. There's good reason for this massive adoption, with the Microsoft giant explaining that the adoption rate is largely driven by the operating system itself. Quality driven.
Microsoft Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer Panos Panay replied to a blog post in January, someone said:
Since the launch of Windows 11 in October, we have seen a Strong demand and preference for Windows 11, with people accepting Windows 11 upgrade offers twice as fast as we saw with Windows 10. Windows 11 also has the highest quality scores and product satisfaction of any version of Windows we’ve ever released. Product quality is a huge focus for the team, and we take a thoughtful and staged approach to how we roll out upgrades.
Today at Computex 2022, Panos Panay reiterated this idea again during a discussion with Nicole Dezen, CVP of Device Partner Sales at the company, stating that the quality of the operating system is still that of Windows 11 A top priority for the development team. He said:
[..] It (Windows 11) has the highest quality score. That's the most important thing for our team, quality, quality, quality. People who are using it are discovering the quality of the product, which is awesome. This also translates into product satisfaction. This is the highest product satisfaction rating we've ever seen for any version of Windows we've released. You kind of see it.
The Computex keynote also discussed other things such as various Windows 11 features and the new hybrid work culture that has become popular since the COVID pandemic. You can watch it at the source link below.
