1. Check the number of bits of the operating system

2. Download the Golang installation file

3. Install Golang

Windows system installation

4. Save and exit the ~/.bashrc file, then run the following command in the terminal for the changes to take effect:

source ~/.bashrc

Mac system installation

1. Open the terminal and switch to the root user.

2. Unzip the downloaded binary file. For example, to install Golang in the "/usr/local" directory, you can use the following command:

tar -C /usr/local -xzf go1.x.x.darwin-amd64.tar.gz

Note: "go1.x.x" here should be replaced with your version number.

4. Check whether Golang is installed successfully

Enter the following command in the terminal:

go version

5. Start programming
