After the first preview version of Android P was released, Google made some improvements to it

Google has released the first developer preview version of Android P. Highlights of the new system include improvements to the notification bar, optimization of indoor positioning, a top groove screen design similar to the iPhone X, and performance improvements. Google made some improvements in the later period. The following are the more interesting improvements selected.

To better protect privacy, Android P prohibits idle applications from accessing the microphone, camera, and all SensorManager sensors. When your application is UID idle, the application will not be able to use the microphone, audio, and sensors. Not only that, but the cameras used by the app are also disconnected, and if the view forces them to open, the app will generate an error report. No one should object to this move.

To adapt to these changes, Android P will warn users through a dialog box when installing applications for platforms prior to Android 4.2, and future platform versions will continue to increase this minimum limit. When installing old applications, a warning dialog box pops up. This should make users more willing to update their apps on the Play Store.

Streams can now be accessed simultaneously from two or more physical cameras on a device running Android P. On devices with dual front or dual rear cameras, it's possible to create innovative features not possible with a single camera, such as seamless zoom, bokeh, and stereoscopic vision. You can also invoke logical or fused camera streams to automatically switch between two or more cameras.
