想学习后端开发，是PHP，Python，还是node.js，还是。目前是做Android开发。?

按语言流行程度：php > python > nodejs
php主流公司：facebook，新浪，网页，搜狐，百度，腾讯...
python主流公司：quora，豆瓣，知乎，果壳...
nodejs在国内的知名站点较之前两者都较少。

对于一个startup公司选择的开发语言很大程度上受他们现有员工对各个语言的熟练度或是同类公司所用技术的影响。
对于个人的话，教你一个办法。先树立一个目标公司，然后根据这个公司的要求去学习这个公司需要的技术，可以直接去看它的招聘简章。比如说你就想进知乎这样的公司，那就可以主攻python。

如果没有目标公司，简单点就优先选择最主流的php，这样找工作时的选择会多一点。或者先对这3种技术有一个大体的了解，再根据好感度或兴趣择优。当然，如果你有相关技术背景的话，也可以考虑一下之间不同的学习成本。看你的需求。
如果不是特别大的项目或者特别注重性能。
可以考虑使用rails开发。国外很多创业公司的项目是rails开发的。
开发效率和健壮性是一流的。有java基础自然java了，主流后端开发语言。 follow your heart

如果你仅仅是为了生活，学哪一样都一样难道不能全部学了。。懂js的话node.js看看就会了，python和php应该都挺好入门的，等大概都会了，后面选一门好好深入研究下~~ java不也可以做后端么 PHP是世界上最好的语言 php是坑，每次升级都不兼容，现在还在用php5.2.10，最早用php3，升级折腾死人。建议nginx_lua，nodejs 我觉得项目驱动吧。。。反正我这几天放弃考研后随便去面了几家公司，我本来做java的，然后它要我做node.js。。。不过我觉得python比较有趣，当然java最容易找工作，到时候需要就去学其他咯
