Teucrium launches its first XRP leveraged ETF, leading a new chapter in the crypto ETF market!

Teucrium Investment Advisors announces the launch of its first leveraged exchange-traded fund (ETF) related to XRP, a major breakthrough in the crypto investment space. As the world's fourth largest cryptocurrency (by market capitalization), the launch of its related ETFs will provide investors with unprecedented investment opportunities.

The ETF, called "Teucrium 2x Daily XRP ETF" (trading code: XXRP), will be traded on the New York Stock Exchange ARCA, aiming to track twice the daily price performance of XRP. This provides American investors with a convenient way to participate in XRP price fluctuations and obtain leveraged returns.

Since there is currently no approved US XRP ETF, Teucrium will refer to the listed XRP ETPs in the European market (from companies such as 21shares, Bitwise, Coinshares, WisdomTree and Virtune) to determine the value of XRP.

The release follows Teucrium’s filing in early March, which covers 2x long and 2x short daily XRP ETFs. In the future, we also plan to launch a 2x short ETF, allowing traders to profit from the decline in XRP prices.

Teucrium CEO Sal Gilbertie said the current price of XRP and the strong interest of investors are the main factors driving the launch of XXRP. According to CoinGecko data, XRP is currently trading at about $1.90, up 1% in 24 hours.

Gilbertie added that the legal dispute between Ripple and the SEC is about to end and market sentiment is optimistic, with the two sides reaching a $50 million settlement recently, eliminating the major uncertainty of XRP in terms of U.S. regulation.

The launch of XXRP may serve as a catalyst to drive the wider application of XRP ETFs. Several companies, including iTrust Capital, ShapeShift and SEI Investments, have submitted various XRP ETF applications to the SEC.

ETF Store president Nate Geraci pointed out that Ripple's settlement with the SEC could even pave the way for giants like BlackRock and Fidelity to enter the XRP ETF market.

The emergence of US leveraged crypto ETFs marks a turning point in the way institutional and retail investors invest. Although Teucrium Bitcoin Futures ETF has taken the lead in 2022, the launch of XXRP represents a new era - cryptocurrencies such as XRP are going mainstream and becoming an important part of a leveraged portfolio.
