In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, gear degradation is a constant factor, affecting everything from food and armor to clothing and weapons. Regular combat will quickly show the wear and tear on your equipment. Repairing these items is crucial, but the methods vary.
Restoration requires visiting specific locations, usually within towns, and involves a trade-off between time and Groschen.
Repairing Clothes and Armor:
Non-armor clothing is repaired by Tailors, common in larger towns. Simply pay the Tailor for instant repairs. The repair cost increases with the extent of the damage. Armor repairs are handled by Armorers, using the same payment method. Expect to spend several hundred Groschen to repair a complete armor set.
Repairing Weapons:
Weapon repair offers more flexibility. Sharpening wheels, located at Blacksmiths in most towns (indicated by a stone wheel icon on the map), provide a free repair option. Interact with the wheel and sharpen your weapons until Henry confirms their restoration (ensure sparks, not smoke, are emitted). Alternatively, pay a Blacksmith or Swordsmith for instant sharpening, typically costing 50-100 Groschen per weapon. Remember to haggle for better prices.
Using Blacksmith and Armorer Kits:
For on-the-go repairs, utilize repair kits found in your inventory. Select "use" to access a list of repairable items. Note that some repairs may be locked if your Craftsmanship skill is insufficient.
