In Palworld, there are not only a vast number of Pals but also a wide variety of items. To establish an efficient base and prepare for the many battles ahead, you'll want to carry as many items as possible in your inventory. Whether it's food to feed yourself and your Pals, spheres for capturing Pals, weapons, or ammunition for your weapons, you’ll soon find your inventory filling up.
Before you know it, you may realize you no longer have enough space for additional items. In these moments, you may wish for more inventory slots. But don't worry – this guide will show you how to expand your inventory and solve that problem.
To expand your inventory and carry additional items, you’ll need to craft pouches. Pouches provide extra slots in your inventory, allowing you to store a wider variety of items.
Keep in mind that pouches only increase your inventory slots. To carry more items in terms of weight, you’ll need to increase your Weight stat.
There are four types of pouches in the game:
Pouch Type |
Slots |
---|---|
Small Pouch |
Adds 3 Inventory Slots. |
Medium Pouch |
Adds 3 Inventory Slots. |
Large Pouch |
Adds 3 Inventory Slots |
Giant Pouch |
Adds 3 Inventory Slots. |
Total |
Adds 12 Inventory Slots. |
Each pouch provides you with three additional inventory slots, so your goal should be to craft all of them, not just the highest level. This way, you'll gain a maximum of 12 extra inventory slots, which will significantly help in managing your items more effectively.
Starting with the smallest pouch and crafting them one by one will be the best approach to follow, as it ensures you utilize your resources efficiently.
Pouches do not stack. This means crafting two Small Pouches will not give you extra slots. Additionally, pouches do not take up space in your inventory—they are categorized as Key Items, so you don’t have to worry about them using up valuable slots or affecting your weight limit.
Below is a list of materials required for crafting Pouches. In addition to gathering these materials, make sure you have access to the necessary crafting stations, as higher-level pouches require more advanced facilities to create.

Material |
How To Obtain |
---|---|
Predator Core |
To obtain Predator Cores, you must defeat Predator Pals, which are special and powerful types of Pal. Keep in mind that these unique creatures spawn only in specific locations across the map, but they may not always be present when you go looking for them. You might need to check back periodically or explore alternative areas to find them. |
Fiber |
To obtain Fiber, you can farm Pal's like Hangyu and Hoocrates. Additionally, you can gather it from trees in the overworld. If you have a Crusher at your base, you can get two Fiber from one Wood. |
Leather |
You can buy Leather from Small Settlement, but there are also many Pal's that drop it. You can farm Pal's like Chillet, Foxparks, Fuack, and Galeclaw for Leather. If your level is low, you can also farm lower-level Pal's like Rushroar and Melpaca. |
Carbon Fiber |
To obtain Carbon Fiber, you must use at least the Production Assembly Line crafting station. You can produce one Carbon Fiber for every 2 Coal and 5 Charcoal . Additionally, when you defeat Jetragon and Shadowbeak, you'll also obtain Carbon Fiber. However, crafting your own Carbon Fiber is a more efficient and faster solution. |
Ancient Technology Points |
You can obtain Ancient Technology Points by defeating or capturing Alpha Pals. Tower Bosses will also grant you Ancient Technology Points. However, keep in mind that these methods only apply to the first time you defeat an Alpha Pal or Tower Boss. Additionally, Ancient Technical Manuals can sometimes be found in chests, but they are quite rare. |
