Motorola Moto G75 brings IP68 certification and Sony LYT-600 camera to rival Xiaomi Redmi Note 14

Motorola has now unveiled the Moto G75, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3-based smartphone that measures 166.09 x 77.24 x 8.34 mm and and weighs 205 g. Please note that vegan leather variants are slightly thicker and heavier at 8.44 mm 208 g, respectively. Nonetheless, both variants contain the following other hardware:

  • 6.78-inch LCD, 2,388 x 1,080 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rates, 1,000 nits HBM
  • 5,000 mAh battery, 30 W TurboPower wired, 15 W wireless
  • LPDDR4x RAM/UFS 2.2 flash storage

Additionally, all Moto G75 variants are IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certified with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection across its large display. Moreover, Motorola has equipped the Moto G75 with the same Sony LYT-600 camera sensor found inside the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14. On top of that, Motorola complements the optically-stabilised camera with 8 MP ultra-wide-angle, auxiliary and 16 MP front-facing cameras.

Unsurprisingly, Motorola pre-installs Android 14 rather than the newer Android 15. As it stands, the Moto G75 comes in a single 8 GB RAM/256 GB storage SKU that supports MicroSD card expansion. With that being said, the handset can be configured in Aqua Blue, Charcoal Grey and Succulent Green colour options for €299 (~$332) in the Eurozone. While Motorola plans to sell the Moto G75 in Asia-Pacific, Latin American and Middle Eastern markets too, it has not provided a date for doing so.
