On August 22, according to foreign media reports, Apple’s sub-brand Beats by Dre recently launched new firmware for Beats Studio Pro, which finally allows this headset to support the audio sharing function that Apple fans have long awaited.
Beats Studio ProBeats Studio Pro has been packed with many attractive features since its release, such as active noise cancellation and personalized spatial audio. While the audio sharing feature has been available on Beats devices since 2019, it doesn't appear on Beats Studio Pro's feature list.
Now that Beats has released new firmware, that has changed.
Apple has pushed firmware version 2C301, adding audio sharing functionality to Beats Studio Pro. This update will be downloaded and installed automatically when the user uses the headset. However, firmware updates currently do not support manual installation.
Beats Studio Pro features custom 40mm drivers for near-zero distortion and an integrated digital processor to balance the sound. The headphones are lightweight, weighing only 9.18 ounces (approximately 260 grams). Beats Studio Pro has up to 40 hours of battery life with active noise cancellation (ANC) and transparency turned off, or 24 hours with these features enabled.
