[ITBEAR] According to news on August 12, the floating wind power platform "Mingyang Tiancheng" with the largest single capacity in the world has officially set sail recently, heading to the Mingyang Qingzhou Si Offshore Wind Farm in Yangjiang, Guangdong, marking another achievement in my country's offshore wind power technology. 1. "Ming Yang Tiancheng" sailed about 191 nautical miles, and the estimated towing time is about 72 hours.
  1. Route: Depart from Guangzhou Nansha Port, sail along the Guangzhou Port sea channel to the Pearl River estuary, pass through the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, sail out of Lingding Ocean, continue sailing westward, and arrive at Zhuhai, Jiangmen, and Yangjiang South Pengdao offshore wind farm finally arrived at its destination.
  2. The "Ming Yang Tiancheng" was independently developed by Mingyang Group. It adopts a "V"-shaped twin tower design and is equipped with two 8.3 MW offshore wind turbines with a total capacity of 16.6 MW. It is suitable for waters with water depths above 35 meters.
  3. The highest point of the platform impeller is 219 meters, and the maximum width in the air is about 369 meters.
  4. The draft is 5.5 meters when towed, and the total displacement is about 12,000 tons.
  5. When the ballast reaches the working condition during operation, the total drainage volume is about 15,000 tons.

    Mingyang Tiancheng's first technology

Mingyang Group revealed that "Mingyang Tiancheng" has achieved a number of world's first technologies:

  1. Ultra-high performance concrete floating foundation: The compression resistance reaches More than 115 MPa, the strength is 4 times that of ordinary concrete.
  2. Float design: "Glass fiber shell + XPS core material + protective coating material", breaking through the limitations of traditional pure steel or steel-concrete structures.
  3. Airfoil double tower, double main engine, double wind wheel design: Improve stability and power generation efficiency.
  4. Cable system: The world’s first, enhancing the platform’s wind resistance.
