According to news from this site on June 21, according to German media Hardwareluxx, ASUS displayed its next-generation NUC mini host code-named Lunar Canyon at the 2024 Taipei International Computer Show.
As its name suggests, Lunar Canyon is equipped with Intel’s upcoming Lunar Lake processor, so this NUC will adopt a MoP onboard memory non-replaceable design.
As ASUS’s “new generation AI NUC product”, Lunar Canyon is equipped with a physical Copilot button on the front to facilitate users who do not yet have a Copilot key on their keyboard to call up the AI assistant Windows Copilot.
The front of Lunar Canyon also includes a power button, two 5Gbps USB Type-A interfaces, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Thunderbolt Type-C interface. It is unclear whether this interface supports the latest Thunderbolt 5 standard.
On the back, Lunar Canyon provides 1 DC power port, 1 2.5G wired network port, 1 HDMI interface, 2 10Gbps Type-A interfaces and another unspecified version of Thunderbolt Type-C interface.
More information about ASUS’ next-generation NUC mini host Lunar Canyon (note from this site: such as storage support) is expected to be made available to the public in the third quarter of this year.
