Liferea 1.12.2 has been released, a new bug fix version. A plugin installer has been introduced to easily discover and install third-party plugins.

For Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 17.10, Ubuntu 18.04 and derivatives, new versions are available in third-party PPA repositories.
1. Open Terminal via Ctrl + Alt + T or by searching for "Terminal" from the application launcher. When open, run the command:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuhandbook1/apps
Enter your password (no visual feedback while typing) and press Enter.
2. Then upgrade Liferea via the Software Updater utility or run the commands one by one to install the Linux feed reader:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install liferea
Finally launch News Reader from your app launcher and enjoy! (If you don't see the icon, log out and back in).
To remove software, use the system package manager or run the command:
sudo apt-get remove --autoremove liferea
To delete the PPA repository, open the Software & Updates utility and navigate to the Additional Software tab.
