因为RedHat Linux 5系统推出比Oracle 10g晚，所以官方文档只有Oracle 10g在RedHat 4中的安装。
1、 需要修改RedHat 5的操作系统配置文件，把RedHat 5改成RedHat 4，这样在Oracle安装前的检查可以欺骗过去。
2、 一定需要满足Oracle 10g在RedHat 4系统中的各种Linux安装包，，如果Oracle在安装前检查出有警告、或者错误是关于Linux的各种安装包，最后满足该要求，不然很有可能安装不成功。（曾经在缺少gcc安装包的情况下，检查出现一个警告缺少该包，安装到一半就频繁出错，没有安装成功）
3、 如果是中文使用的数据库，可以选择简体GBK字符集。
在Linux中安装时，如果满足了Oracle安装前的检查，环境变量配置、权限没有问题，安装就像windows中的安装一样简单。
