JS - All about String Primitive

  • 字符串是基元,但它们仍然具有可在对象上使用的方法。
  • 每当我们调用字符串上的方法时,JS 都会在后台将 String 原语转换为 String 对象,然后在该对象上调用方法。这个过程称为装箱,因为 String 基元被取出并放入充当盒子的 String 对象内,即它将参数传递到“new String()”方法内,将字符串基元转换为字符串对象。
  • 操作完成后,对象会在后台从 String 对象转换回 String 原语。
  • 传递到“new String()”的任何内容都会成为可以使用 typeof 运算符进行验证的对象。

// String replacement: (ToBeReplaced, ReplceWith)
// replace() : A case-sensitive method. Immutable Methods for functional Programming:

// Using RegEx: Target text has to be enclosed between // with flag at the end. Desired text to be passed as second argument.

// .split(): split the text based on condition, return the elements in the form of an array
// .join(): opposite of .split()

// Destrucutring makes it easier as compared to using .slice()
