WordPress insert media

In this chapter, we will look at how to insert media in WordPress. Media files can be inserted into your page or post from the library, local storage or URL.

Here are the steps to insert media in WordPress.

Step (1) - Click Posts → Add New in WordPress.

Step (2) - Click Add Media.

Step (3) - You can select files from the Media Library tag, as shown below Screen shot shown.

Information about the selected media file will appear on the right side of the screen under Attachment Details. Click the Insert Post button and the image will be inserted into the post. In the Attachment Details section you can find information about the image such as URL, title, subtitles, alt text and description

You can also click on Upload Files tag, insert pictures directly from the system. Click the Insert into Post button.
