WordPress plugin customization


In this chapter, we will learn how to customize plugins in WordPress without writing any HTML or CSS. It's usually a great addition to a multi-user website. This new method allows you to customize your login page using WordPress theme customization tools (no coding skills required).

Here are the simple steps to customize plugins in WordPress.

Step (1) - Click Plugins → Add New.

Step (2) - Install and activate the Custom Login Page Customizer plug-in.

Step (3) - Click the Appearance → Login Customize section.

Step (4) - Click the Start Customizing button to continue.

Step (5) - It will launch the built-in WordPress theme customizer. You can customize the theme and make it look the way you want.

Click on the new Login Customizer tab in the side panel. The Login Customizer page appears. On the Login Customizer page, you can customize your login page the same way you customize your WordPress theme.

Step (6) - The custom login page will be displayed as shown below.

  • Logo - Upload a logo of your choice to replace the default WordPress logo.

  • Background - Add a background image or you can choose a background color of your choice.

  • Form Background - Select a form background image or color for the login form container of your choice.

Most selections in the Customizer panel are transparent. You can check all the choices in the customizer to adjust the settings according to the requirements of the login page. Click the Save and Publish button.
