Sinopec and CATL signed strategic cooperation framework agreement

Officials pointed out that Ma Yongsheng, chairman and party secretary of Sinopec Group Corporation, met with Zeng Yuqun, chairman and general manager of CATL, and his delegation at the headquarters, and witnessed the signing together. The two parties will further strengthen new energy, new chemical materials, and technological innovation and exchanged in-depth views on cooperation in other fields.

It is worth mentioning that Sinopec also signed a strategic cooperation framework with Geely Holding Group in Beijing on March 9 According to the agreement, Ma Yongsheng met with Geely Holding Group Chairman Li Shufu and Vice Chairman Yang Jian at the headquarters.

Previously, Sinopec had cooperated with Huawei and Wanbang Digital Energy Co., Ltd. in the field of charging piles. Beijing Petroleum's first fully liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging station "Xiaowuji Charging Station" built using Huawei's liquid-cooled supercharging technology was put into use on January 24.

Inquiries on this site found that CATL and Sinopec have already cooperated before. For example, Sinopec Fujian Petroleum cooperated with CATL in August 2022 to build the first "photovoltaic charging and inspection" power station project in Fujian.
