Global sales of Samsung S24 series soared: sales in the Korean market surged 22%

In Western Europe, sales rose 28%, driven by strong bookings in the UK, Germany and France. U.S. sales also increased 14%.

The most expensive model, S24 Ultra, accounted for 52% of total sales, followed by S24 (27%) and S24 Plus (21%).

Samsung S24, S24 and S24 Ultra are Samsung’s first mobile phones with pre-installed AI functions. These features include real-time language translation that can be used in messages and voice calls; summary summarization of web pages and notes; and generative AI-based image and video editing capabilities.

Samsung has previously stated that Galaxy AI features will be available for free on supported Samsung Galaxy devices until the end of 2025. The head of Samsung Electronics' MX department also responded specifically to this concern, saying that Samsung will not consider monetizing the Galaxy AI business this year, but will focus on allowing more users to experience AI functions.
