News from this site on March 1st, NVIDIA recently released a Hotfix driver update for GeForce GTX 16 series "Turing" graphics cards such as GTX 1660 and GTX 1650 Ti, focusing on fixing some problems with the NVENC hardware encoder.
This Hotfix driver update is based on GeForce 551.68 and has not passed WHQL certification. Nvidia may incorporate this fix in a subsequent release of the GeForce Game Ready or Studio main driver.
GeForce GTX 16 Series “Turing” graphics cards feature an NVENC unit that accelerates H.264 and H.265 encoding. For some applications that rely on this unit for hardware acceleration, video corruption, rendering errors, etc. may occur before the patch is installed.
