Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) 5 introduces new elements to HTML for the first time. New structural elements include aside, figure, and section. New inline elements include time, meter, and progress. New inline elements are video and audio. New interactive elements are details, datagrid and command.
Structural Elements
Even well-formed HTML pages can be difficult to work with due to their lack of structure. The level of the heading must be analyzed to see how the sections are divided. Sidebars, footers, headers, navigation bars, main content areas, and individual articles are all represented by common div elements. HTML 5 adds some new elements specifically to identify these common structures: ection: This can be a chapter or a section in a book, in fact anything that has its own title in HTML 4 header: the header displayed on the page; different from the head element footer: footer; can display the signature in the email nav: a set of links to other pages article: an article in a blog, magazine, article collection, etc.
Semantic block elements
In addition to structural elements, HTML 5 also adds some purely semantic block-level elements: aside: represents instructions, tips, sidebars, quotes, additional notes, etc., that is, content outside the main line of the narrative figure: a block-level image that can also contain a description dialog: represents a conversation between several people.
