"Limits of Heavy Metals and Specific Substances in Express Packaging" is a mandatory national standard. It was jointly drafted by the State Post Bureau and organized by the China Institute of Standardization, the Postal Science Research and Planning Institute and other units, and entrusted with the national postal industry standardization Implemented by the technical committee. Specifically, in 2023, the intra-city express delivery business volume reached 13.64 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%; the long-distance express delivery business volume reached 115.36 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 20.5%; the international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan express delivery business volume reached 3.07 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 20.5%.
