Usually this is a problem with the broadband itself, or a problem with the router settings.
Let me give you a reference on how to set up the router:
1. Connect the network cable - router - computer, and start the computer and router equipment;
2. After starting the device, open the browser and enter 192.168.1.1 in the address bar to enter the wireless router setting interface. (It’s marked on the back of the router)
3. An account and password for logging into the router will appear on the setting interface. Enter the default account and password admin (marked on the back of the router)
4. After successful login, select the setup wizard interface, which will pop up automatically by default;
After selecting the setup wizard, a description window will pop up. Set the basic parameters of the router through the wizard. Just click Next.
6. Follow the setup wizard to set up step by step and select the Internet access method. For ADSL users, choose the first item PPPoE; for other network service providers, choose the following two items based on actual conditions. If you are not sure how to choose, you can directly select the first item to automatically select it to make it easier for novices to operate. After completing your selection, click Next.
7. Enter the account number and password you applied for from the network service provider. After completing the input, go to the next step;
8. Set the wifi password, and try to make the combination of letters and numbers more complex to prevent it from being used on the Internet.
9. After the input is correct, you will be prompted whether to restart the router. Select Yes to confirm to restart the router. After restarting the router, you can access the Internet normally.
1. Open the browser on your computer, enter 192.168.0.1 in the URL bar, enter the router settings interface, click Advanced Settings - Running Status, and check the WAN port status.
2. If the WAN port status shows Connected or Connecting, the connection method is automatically obtained. Please confirm first that you are not connected to the router. If the broadband cable is directly connected to the computer, dial-up Internet access is required. If necessary, click Advanced Settings in the routing settings interface. - Internet settings, change the Internet access method to ADSL dial-up, and enter the account password provided by the broadband.
3. If the WAN port status shows Connecting, the connection method is ADSL dial-up. Connect the broadband network cable (network cable that can access the Internet) directly to the computer, then click "Broadband Connection" on the computer desktop and change "Broadband Username and Password" Delete", re-enter, and then click Connect again to see if you can connect.
If you can't connect, you need to contact Broadband. If possible, connect the broadband cable to the WAN port of the router. Use a network cable and connect one end to the computer and the other to any one of the 1/2/3 interfaces of the router. Open your computer browser and enter 192.168.0.1 in the URL bar to enter the router settings interface.
Click Advanced Settings-MAC Clone, Manual Clone-Clone mac address, click OK when you see that the address does not start with C8:3A:35. 4. If the WAN port status shows that it is not connected, check whether the light of the routing WAN port is on. If not, you can unplug the cable of the routing WAN port and reconnect it.
Click "Advanced Settings" - WAN rate control, select 10M half-duplex for broadband below 4M, select 10M full-duplex for 4-10M, select 100M half-duplex for 10M-20M, select 100M full-duplex for 20-100M, click Sure. Click System Tools-Restart Router.
