GPD WIN Max 2 handheld console debuts, equipped with R7 8840U processor and 32GB memory

According to news from this site on January 19, GPD handheld console announced that it will launch the AMD R78840U processor version of WIN Max 2 handheld console. The official posted a simple screenshot of the handset today.

The handheld console is equipped with 32GB of memory and is equipped with Windows 11 22H2 version system. Officials stated that to fully experience AI PC, at least Windows 11 23H2 version is required.

In addition, GPD officials stated that 16GB memory will be the minimum requirement for AIPC, so subsequent AI PCs with 32GB memory should be standard, and 64GB memory AI PCs will also be common.

AMD launched the Ryzen 8040 series CPU last month. The R7 8840U uses 8 cores and 16 threads, a turbo frequency of 5.1GHz, and a Radeon 780M core display.
