Microsoft's 'Renaming Department” takes action: AI image creation tool Image Creator removes the Bing prefix

Microsoft released the Bing Image Creator service in March 2021. This feature uses the DALL-E model under OpenAI. It is said that this feature can generate unique photos that meet the user's needs based on the contextual content and artistic style provided by the user.

Microsoft recently decided to change one of their services from "Renaming Department" to "Image Creator in Designer" or simply "Image Creator". This is the second time Microsoft has abandoned the Bing brand prefix after Bing Chat.
