I just installed Linux Mint (I heard it is more popular than Ubuntu now). After the installation, I found that the panel is at the top. And the strangest problem is that when opening a program, the lower panel will not be displayed.

You can only switch application windows with alt.

And when I want to set the display of the lower panel, nothing happens when I right-click.

After my exploration, I finally figured out how to set up the panel.

Share it with everyone here.

The most important thing is to hold down alt and right-click in the bottom panel.

Select "Add to Panel"

Window List - Displays running applications

User menu - can control shutdown, etc.

Menu Bar - Application Location

Show desktop - is to display the desktop to the shortcut key

I won’t go into details about other things.

Then alt right click and select properties to control whether the panel is displayed at the top or bottom, left or right.

If you want to delete an element on the panel, move the alt mouse to the element and right-click

Select “Remove from Panel”

If you want to move the location, select "Move".
