According to the editor’s understanding, HTC plans to continue to launch 1-2 mobile phones next year , still using Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series processors, and not planning to switch to Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series processors
Huang Zhaoying, HTC’s senior vice president of global business, said that despite the fierce competition in the current mobile phone market, known as the “Red Ocean” , but for HTC, the core of mobile phones lies in "communication". Mobile phone designs may change in the future, but the need for communication won't go away. Therefore, HTC will continue to launch mobile phone products and is expected to launch 1-2 new models in 2024. Regarding the positioning of new HTC phones in the future, Huang Zhaoying mentioned that HTC has chosen the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series in the past two years. SoC is a product strategy, so relevant policies will continue in the future. However, HTC will announce separately the product specifications and launch time of the next-generation mobile phone.
Huang Zhaoying also said that the sales performance of the HTC U23 series was better than that of the previous generation HTC Desire 22 Pro, with sales increasing by at least about 30%. HTC U23 has only been on the market for half a year, and the product life cycle has not yet ended. This shows HTC's continued efforts and development prospects in the mobile phone field.
